I was priviledged with giving a lightning talk at Windy City Rails in 2017.
This talk is a humorous take on git’s
blame tool. Often times when we look through code, we find snippets that invoke a… variety of reactions. Even though using
blame told me what I needed to know (who did it), using
blame rarely felt good. In fact, in a culture of feedback and mentorship, typing blame is counterproductive. So, I made a bunch of aliases to help remove the blame game.
